After a week break, the Aransas Pass High School Lady Panther varsity basketball team resumed district play and secured a win over Taft to improve to 3-3 in district, and 17-11 on the season.

Aransas Pass traveled to Taft Friday, Jan. 11, and won 56-24.

Lady Panthers who scored are: Kimberly Castillo – 38; Makhileigh Brown – five; Marissa Acosta – three; and Lauren Belvin, Sheila Cabrera, Marielyn Cruz, Aaliyah Leal, and Camille Mendoza – two apiece.
